About
I am a specialist in modern and contemporary Cultural Studies with expertise in psychoanalytic criticism. My PhD was awarded by Queen Mary, University of London in 2010. My first book, Fashion and Psychoanalysis, was published by I.B. Tauris in February 2012. My approach is interdisciplinary and I research in both English and French.
My current research interests include:
Modern and Contemporary Literature and Visual Culture and Theory.
Contemporary Subjectivities, particularly those concerned with transgression, sexualities, movement and migration, outsiders and otherness.
The Relationship Between Psychoanalytic Thought and Cultural Life.
Lacan and his Legacy.
