In November 2011 the Gerda Henkel Foundation has awarded my research project 'Antiquities in Motion in Early Modern Rome: People, Objects and Practices' with a Marie Curie fellowship for the academic years 2012-2014. Starting from October 2012, my host institution will be the Warburg Institute in London.
Starting from September 2011, I am Research Assistant for the international research project 'Fashioning the Early Modern: Creativity and Innovation in Europe, 1500-1800', sponsored by HERA (Humanities in the European Research Area),www.fashioningtheearlymodern.ac.uk
I am collaborating in the research project 'Display of Art in Roman Palaces, 1550-1750', organized by The Getty Research Institute and directed by Dr. Gail Feigenbaum (http://blogs.getty.edu/iris/the-display-of-art-in-roman-palaces/).
My new book - A Renaissance Baron and His Possessions. Paolo Giordano I Orsini, Duke of Bracciano (1541-1585) - is forthcoming by Brepols in the UCLA series 'Cursor Mundi' in summer 2012.
